A Stage Kindly

A STAGE KINDLY began by staging revues of international new musical theatre writing before diversifying into full-length productions. This is an exciting find from America – four musicals in one.

Making its UK debut A FEAST OF SNACKS by American writers Michael Gordon Shapiro with Mark Harvey Levine comprises of not one but four short musicals, including the Gilbert & Sullivan inspired HMS Headwind, another musical about a miniature golf competition, and by popular demand The Charmed Life, about the mystery of one young lady’s impossible luck.

APRIL REVUE is an evening of show-stopping material especially selected from new musicals being developed by writers from all over the world.

Ian Carlyle

Ian was born in London and trained at the Barbados Dance Theatre and with the Purple Theatre Company.

Ian has performed extensively in Barbados, and is a founding member of the Purple Theatre Company.

Ian made his West End debut in The Lion King and has just finished a run as the Crabman and u/s Sportin' Life in Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production of Porgy and Bess.

Other work includes: the UK tour of Miss Saigon and a workshop of a new piece entitled The Corporate Witches. Ian has just completed a run of Carmen Jones at the Royal Festival Hall.

Iris Theatre
Iris Theatre is launching its new writing strand with a night of new musical theatre. This will be a night of musical invention and experimentation a platform for a delicious variety of work across a broad cross section of styles and themes.

Natalie Casey

Natalie Casey (born 15 April 1980, Bacup, Lancashire) is an English actress, television presenter and singer. She is best known for her long running roles in the TV series Hollyoaks and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. She has also appeared on stage and worked as a television presenter for MTV, Channel 4 and the BBC.
